Ye Lab
Biology Department, Loyola University Chicago
HUIPING ZHAO
Lab Manager and Technician
Huiping graduated from medical school in China. She has experience with running research labs, multiple cellular and molecular biology techniques, and establishment of xenograft models in small animals.
Her current research project focuses on
(1) The influence of the electric field on neural stem cell differentiation.
(2) Establishing a in vitro spinal cord injury model with neuro stem cell treatment using organotypic slice culture of adult mice spinal cords.
These studies will investigate how stem cell works on neurotrauma and the mechanisms underlying stem cell differentiation in the electric field stimulation.
